The South Tower
Elevated high above the daily grind of the Castle, is one of our most quaint and private locations. With picturesque 360° views of the Napa Valley and the Castle below, this platform at the highest point of the castle.
The South Tower provides exquisite views and allows a behind the scenes glimpse of the inner workings of the mechanism used to raise and lower the drawbridge. Towers were meant to establish ideal viewpoints for watching over a castle’s surrounding lands. They were also used to deliver signals to allies across long distances and turned to as a last refuge when a Castle was under.

The stairway in route to the South Tower is filled with a variety of Medieval artifacts.
